A Guide to Playing Baccarat Poker Online
Baccarat differs than most poker games, in that the
higher-ranking cards alter. The Aces for example equals
one in the game Baccarat, while the “face cards
and tens” equal “zero.” Likewise,
the two’s through Nine in Baccarat have the highest
value. One example of a Baccarat winning hand can be
seen as followed:
Player One: Queen, 5 and 4 equals 9:
Player 2: King, seven and two equals 9:
Both the examples represent a winning Baccarat hand.
During the game, a symbolic dealer systematically draws
the cards for each player seated at the tables. The
cards dealt will include the “Banker” hand.
At the onset of the game, your “chips” are
piled up by value. For example, the pile may consist
of “$1, $5, $25, and $100.”
You will see these values “at the bottom of the
screen” in the lobbying area, and “above
your User label.” Once you locate the values then
you must elect the wager for the hand to be played,
by “clicking the left mouse button on the chip
of that” value. You can also use the mouse to
drag the cursor to the selection. You have the option
of increasing your wager or decreasing your wager before
the games starts. If you want to increase the value
then you must click on the left side of the mouse and
place the cursor on the wager amount to increase the
bet. There is also a “Re-Bet” button in
this area, which you can push to decrease your bet.
Baccarat Object
The object of Baccarat is to reach the numerical nine,
or else come as close as possible to the value. At the
table, generally, there are five players and a dealer.
To give you a better understanding of Baccarat online
poker, I will illustrate a couple of winning hands and
a couple of loosing hands.
Winning Hands
Player A: Ace-6-Ace = eight and is closest to the nine,
which makes this a winning hand, providing the other
players did not get a nine “banker” hand.
Player B: 8-Ace-King = nine, which is a winning “banker”
hand. Again, the King values zero in the card game Baccarat.
Loosing Hands
Player A: Ace-King-Queen =one and the player looses
the bet.
Player B: Ace-Ace-Jack=two, therefore the player looses
the bet.
The dealer starts the game, dealing each player “two
hands of cards.” The hands represent the “Tie,”
“Banker, and Player” hands. Finally, any
player that reaches the “natural” hand is
required to draw, or else stand during the game. If
two players hit the “TIE” BET during the
“natural” hand, then both players will receive
a ‘8 to 1” winnings. The table gets “5%
commission” per winning.
